The multi-purpose offshore vessel SIEM SPEARFISH, which sails under the flag of the Bahamas, visited us in January/February to have certain work carried out.
The ship is part of the SIEM Offshore AS fleet based in Norway. Among other things, coating work was carried out on the crane, the helideck, outer skin and the MOV hangar. Both main drives were overhauled with our support of Kongsberg as were the bow thrusters an the azimuth. In addition mounting openings were created for the installation of the generator/electric motors.
All ballast tanks, all radiators and exhaust air ducts in the galley were cleaned.
Steelwork was carried out on the bulwark. The block cooler boxes and the sewage treatment tank, the hydraulic cylinders of the main crane and the hydraulic cylinders of the hatches were repaired.
Various hydraulic hoses on the cranes, launching devices and hangar doors were replaced.
