Abstract:

Following the sale to BENLI group from Bremerhaven, Emder Werft und Dock (EWD) intends to further strengthen its market position. The focus will remain on the ship repair business for various customers such as the German navy, ship owners, federal agencies as well a cruise and offshore companies. „Flying squads“ can take care of on site repairs. EWD is one of the successors to former Nordseewerke, which used to be one of Germany’s biggest and most renowned shipyard.
