As part of a major overhaul and class renewal, a particularly heavyweight guest lay in the large dry dock for 2 weeks – the almost 170-meter-long and nearly 25-meter-wide bulk carrier „SANDNES“. The ship usually transports up to 27,000 tons of rock from a Norwegian quarry to a total of 48 different destination ports throughout Europe.
