The Emder Werft und Dock GmbH was presented with the TOP Ausbildung Emder Werft und Dock GmbH certificate by the IHK President for East Frisia and Papenburg, Dr. Bernhard Brons, and the Chief Executive Officer of the IHK, Dr. Torsten Slink, as well as the honorary auditors, Mr. Peter Detmers and Mr. Günter Geerdes.

TOP Ausbildung is a seal of quality awarded by the Lower Saxony Chambers of Industry and Commerce. After passing through a strict procedure, the seal is awarded to companies in the region that are aware of their responsibility in the area of training and are particularly committed to this. The companies awarded the seal not only comply with the minimum standards required by the Vocational Training Act, but also offer future skilled workers high-quality training from start to finish. To achieve the seal of approval, great importance is attached to development opportunities in the respective training occupation and in the company. With this award, the responsible Chamber of Industry and Commerce not only recognizes the outstanding work of the companies. It also pursues the purpose of constantly improving training by enabling the companies to identify potential in the audit, the heart of the process, and to receive new impetus from the honorary auditors. For this reason, the award of the seal of approval is also a mandate to the company to continue to work hard for good and sustainable training in the region.
